Come join us for our annual Turkey Dinner on March 31 from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM. If you can’t stay, we’d be happy to put a takeout dinner together for you. Either way the cost is $10.00 for an adult size and $6.00 for a child size dinner. We hope to see you there.

Done like you’ve never seen before. This video from the small Yupiq Eskimo Village of Quinhagak, Alaska , was a school computer project intended for the other Yupiq villages in the area. Much to the villagers’ shock, over a half million people have viewed it.

It’s obvious to anyone who ventures outside that the season is rapidly changing. Dropping temperatures and shortening days herald the imminent approach of winter. I find myself experiencing a bit of dread when I think about cold dark mornings and treacherous commutes to work.
It’s easy to be a little self-absorbed in anticipation of winter’s challenges, but I’d ask you to pause a minute and consider. There are many individuals and families for whom winter represents much more than a small collection of mild discomforts and inconveniences. There are children that face each day ill-clothed and inadequately fed. Many seniors who struggle to make their very limited income carry them through a week of two meals a day.
Every community has its poor, its homeless and challenged persons. These people don’t exist outside of our communities. They are part of the fabric and humanity of our towns. In a very real way they are the measure of our compassion and our generosity. Please, as the harshness of the weather outside increases, let the kindness in your heart increase also. Locate the food banks and clothing collection centers in and around your community and be as generous as you can. A small gift can be a large comfort.

I ran into this music video this morning while surfing through my favorite Christian News and Entertainment websites. I hope you get the emotional lift from it that I did.
Cry Out to Jesus
The band is 'Third Day'. They've been around for several years, releasing their first CD in the mid 90's and producing 25 No. 1 singles since then.
Sometimes it can be a struggle to know what or who to pray for outside of our own circle of close friends, family and congregation. This song is a reminder of the many many people in the world that need our prayers every day.
